A friend of mine is often agitated by news that American businesses are being taken over by foreigners. In some cases his concerns are legitimate, to say the least. But when word came that a Belgian company was buying Anheuser-Busch, he was ready to make an exception to his rule.
"Maybe now they'll make better beer," he suggests. Since the new owners also own Bass beer, among others, I suppose it is possible. Since we're talking about Budweiser in the first place, it's very possible. It could only improve, after all.
