Two "Red Shirts" were reported killed on Monday in the streets of Bangkok as the conflict between the government and the champions of exiled former leader Thaksin Shinawatra escalated. According to what I read earlier in the day, the killing started when police forced demonstrators into a hostile neighborhood where the residents joined in the fight against the Red Shirts.
