Archeological evidence indicates their culture is at least 3600 years old and hasn't changed much until infestation from the West.<br /><br />Perhaps those people are simply willing to give up certain "freedoms" that they have no use for anyway. It certainly gives them less responsibility and less chaos. There are, after all, people in this country who seem to want to hand over absolute power to others who are not accountable to them and over whom they have no power.<br /><br />I see no difference between a political feudal system and a corporate feudal system - in both cases, the average person is still little more than a slave.<br /><br />Insofar as Americans being oppressed, I think it's only because too many people seem to equate "freedom" with "freedom from responsibility".Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
